Following the hasty removal of any game featuring the Confederate Flag on the App Store, it seems like developer Game-Labs’ historical simulation game of the Battle of Gettysburg has been fully reinstated by Apple.
Their game, Ultimate General: Gettysburg, can now be found on The App Store. According to their latest blog post, Game-Labs said the reinstatement was from “several late-night phone calls” with Apple.
They originally vowed to not remove the flag, as it was a part of their historical simulation. “True stories are more important to us than money,” said Game-Labs, at the time.
Apple was previously cited as removing any game or app that used “the Confederate flag in an offensive or mean-spirited ways.”
