Destroy Your Enemies and See Them Flee in Gunship X for the PS Vita

There’s just something that is very satisfying when you throw in “X” into anything. The X-Men, the X-Factor, Exo Squad the series, and even the PowerPuff Girls were powered by the extra ingredient, chemical “X.” X means something edgy, exciting, and awesome. Such is the case of Gunship X.

Originally an iOS app, Gunship X is an arcade rail shooter where you are humanity’s last hope in an ongoing assault from alien creatures. Your primary weapons are the devastating steel rain from an A-C130 Spectre Gunship, a modified combat version of the C-130 Hercules.

If this sounds familiar, this game was greatly inspired by the one level of the massively smash-hit selling, first-person shooting franchise released in 2007 by Activision.

In addition to the AC-17, players get into the scope of the gunner and deliver all arrays of overwhelming firepower from 10,000 feet straight to the ground. As aliens have begun a devastating assault on major locations, humanity is relying on the overwhelming firepower  of these aircraft.

The app was known for its intuitive controls and it’s incredibly engaging combat. The aliens will come from all the directions to wipe out civilians. Under the unique, angled view of the aircraft, the game requires quick thinking and reflexes to choose the right array of firepower.

The gunships contains all sorts of cannons and missiles and can be upgraded to adapt to a large variety of conditions. There will be aliens that attack the aircraft directly as well. If you are not careful, your bird is fried!
