Pixel Heart is Taking You Into the Wonderful World of Developing Video Games

Pixel Heart is a documentary in the making that is all about people who love making video games. The project is currently being crowdfunded via the French crowdfunding portal Ulule, and they’re seeking to get €60,000 or roughly $83,184 dollars.

The documentary itself will follow the creation process of a dozen different games from various creators around the world. In total, the developers span across six different continents, and they include the likes of:

Mark Healey of the U.K. who has worked on games like LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway from developer Media Molecule; Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Japan who is most famous for his synesthesia inducing shooter Rez, Robin Hunicke from the U.S. who worked on the mesmerizing Journey, and The Sims; Edmundo Bordeu from Chile who worked on the polarizing Zeno Clash; Eyram Tawia of Ghana who is working at developer Leti Arts; and lastly an unnamed sixth developer from India.

The documentary was originally concocted from the director’s own personal experiences while he worked at Ubisoft.
