Legendary Japanese composer Yuzo Koshiro has announced he made a new theme song, however it’s not for something you’d expect. He’s making a theme song for the popular Hololive virtual YouTuber (Vtuber) Korone Inugami.

The storied composer revealed the song is titled “Koroneraiser Inu-More!”, and it was made as a birthday gift to the virtual YouTuber. Since Koshiro is mostly known for Streets of Rage, Actraiser, and more, he went with Actraiser, which is apparently was requested by Korone.

“The music is reminiscent of Filmore from Actraiser as her request is recorded directly from real SFC,” Koshiro said.

He added, “How SPC700 was used has slipped my mind mostly, but after using it for a while, I realized it was amazing sound chips than I remembered! The theme for Korone has almost the same sound as Filmore, but I added a little more complicate sounding as modern.”
