The Scythians and Queen Tomyris Join Civilization VI

Firaxis Games has revealed a new playable civilization in the latest entry within their strategy franchise, Civilization VI.

Featured above, both the Scythians and the iconic Queen Tomyris will be a playable civilization within the game.

Her units get a bonus when they attack wounded units, and heal a little when defeating an enemy. The Scythians create two units instead of one when building cavalry units, including their own unique cavalry unit, the saka-horse archer. Their saka-horse archer doesn’t need the horse resource to be made, either.

They also get a unique city tile, the kurgan, which provides faith and gold, as well as a bonus for being set near pastures. You can’t build it on a hill, and you can’t build kurgans next to each other.

Civilization VI is launching on October 21st, for PC.
