The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is free on Amazon Prime

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is free on Amazon Prime this month, giving members access to Bethesda’s seminal RPG.

While The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is free on Amazon Prime, the fourth mainline game in their flagship RPG franchise is actually redeemed through our friends at GOG, netting you a free copy of the game that remains even if you cancel your Prime subscription.

Released back in 2006, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion debuted on Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 and quickly became a worldwide success.

Oblivion was later overshadowed by its outrageously huge sequel, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which Todd Howard has threatened to re-release as much as possible.

It’s worth noting this freebie for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is actually its Game of the Year Deluxe Edition, which brings with it both expansions – Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles – as well as all of its goofy and sometimes controversial DLC, like the horse armor.

Other Prime Gaming freebies this month include Plants vs. Zombies 2: Battle for Neighborville and Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge, among other titles.

You have until May 2nd, 2022 to redeem The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for free. You can sign up for Amazon Prime or redeem your Prime benefits via this link (Editor’s Note: Affiliate link).

Prime Gaming (formerly called Twitch Prime) gives Amazon Prime subscribers access to a free Twitch channel subscription, netting exclusive in-game content and free Windows PC games every month. Some of the benefits with in-game content are also available for games on console. All the games and content you get are yours forever, too.
