Symphogear XD Unlimited Launches Winter 2019

Bushiroad and Pokelabo have announced that Symphogear XD Unlimited will soon launch globally; supporting English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.

The game originally launched in Japan in 2017, based on the anime of the same name that launched in 2012. The show sees idols fighting off aliens using advanced technology to turn their singing and performances into powerful weapons and techniques. Battles occur in real time, with input from the player to deal maximum damage with attacks from the anime.

This work is a Symphonic Battle RPG that faithfully recreates the world of the Symphogear series. There are over 100 and counting newly created illustrations for the game! Additionally, the game includes many exciting character songs from the original work that serve to enhance the flashy battles! It’s a game that can appeal not just to existing fans, but newcomers as well.

In addition, the game will appear at CharaExpo 2019 in Los Angeles on December 7th and December 8th. Along with exhibiting the game, there will be a “special VR experience” planned. The early December date may also offer a more accurate window of when the game will be released.

Symphogear XD Unlimited will launch Winter 2019 for Android and iOS.
