    • Super Sonico Now Available for Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash in Japan

    If you’ve ever wanted to voraciously grope and/or shoot copious amounts of fluids onto fictional music idol Super Sonico, now’s your chance as Marvelous has finally released her as a playable character in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash.

    You can find Super Sonico as post-launch downloadable content for the game, over on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Featured above, you can view a trailer showing off Sonico in-game, however it’s mostly just footage of her being repeatedly groped and or doused in liquids.

    The Super Sonico set will cost you 700 yen, and it includes: Super Sonico as a playable character (also with her Aquarius costume), a supporter fan, a character doll, two Sonico badges, and a Sonico game avatar icon.

    Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is also getting a western release in both North America and Europe sometime this summer.

      Now we just need Super Pochaco.

      That aside, these weapon designs are pretty neat. Glad to see they’re having fun with the gun style and outfits. I can’t wait for this to come out this summer.

      Sonico fits really well in the game and she’s a better DLC than the DOA girls since she can actually be stripped.

      Is there actually a game play conceit to the grouping and spray down stuff, or is that stuff just there as a fun, optional thing? If it’s connected to the game play in some way, I can see my self getting tired of it pretty quick. The same way the tapping stuff was the weakest part of Criminal Girls.

      I don’t believe there have been mechanics tied to any of that stuff in Previous SK games. So hopefully this one also leaves it as a jokey little, “Yeah, if you find your self super bored, here’s a thing you can do if you want.”

      from what I’ve seen of people playing online, it’s similar to the Fatalities in Mortal Kombat, you can go and splash ’em after they’re down, but if you leave them there they’ll just die normally (and respawn if you’re playing online)

      This game just keeps getting better & better and I haven’t even played it yet

      Downed people can be revived,though reviving them doesn’t count as losing a kill essentially. Once you’re downed it counts as a point for the enemy team. You can finish them off for extra points to buy things after finishing the match. Otherwise I just leave them and keep fighting since that’s more optimal to win. My only complaint is that the swimwear is set to a white default one no matter what they’re actually wearing before you start spraying them. I hope it’s patched or that I’m just missing a simple feature to change that.
