Indie developer Storm in a Teacup have announced stealth action-adventure game Steel Seed.

Steel Seed is currently in development for Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a target ship date sometime in 2024.

The new game follows the last survivors of Earth that dwell underground with AI-powered machines, safe from the destruction that nearly destroyed the planet. A new threat rises up, though, and it remains unclear if the remants of mankind can survive once again.

“Steel Seed represents the most challenging project ’til now for Storm in a Teacup, featuring both a varied combat/stealth system and an incredibly deep and emotional storytelling,” studio CEO and creative director Carlo Ivo Alimo Bianchi said to IGN. “Steel Seed is an epic journey that will test your humanity.”
