Platinum Games are teasing a new game, and it’s reportedly entirely separate from anything they’ve done before.
The news comes from this year’s BitSummit (via DualShockers), where Platinum Games producer Atsushi Inaba teased the game during a keynote presentation.
He described the new game as a “formless, shapeless IP,” but couldn’t go into further details as to what the game is about. He did note, however, that the game will be directed by someone new, and it currently has no name.
During last year’s BitSummit, Platinum Games teased the idea of producing a new IP – this could very well easily be that game.
Finally, Inaba noted during his talk that he’s unsure if Platinum Games can keep up with their current output of one game release per year.
What kind of game would you like to see via Platinum Games? Sound off in the comments below!

As long as they create amazing fun games, I’ll gladly wait and buy it

May 22, 2017 at 2:31 pmIf Microsoft truly fucked them over and handed Scalebound to a new studio then I want to see something similar to that game.I want to see Platinum in direct competition with Microsoft because I bet they will come out on top.

May 22, 2017 at 3:31 pmPlatinum are quite creative with their own IPs. I’m glad that they are putting more time into the game – when they rush things the final products become unpolished and in some cases downright bad.

May 22, 2017 at 4:18 pmSo much for they’re risking going under. Sounds like they have so much work they don’t know if they can finish it all in time.

May 23, 2017 at 9:35 amYou know what could be awesome? A post apocalyptic kungfu Western.
You play as a martial artist type, wandering a wasteland and kicking ass with sweet kungfu combos.
