Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath Hands on Preview and Release Date

Grinding Gear Games has confirmed to Niche Gamer the release date for Path of Exile’s upcoming expansion, The Fall of Oriath.

Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath will be officially released August 4, 2017, or 15 days if you like counting down. The much anticipated expansion adds 6 new Acts to the previous 4, making a total of 10 Acts. Included in the expansion are massive new boss fights, skills, items, monsters, and skill systems which will give avid players and new players something to really sink their teeth into. Best part is, you can play this amazing game for free.

    They put the game on Xbone but not PS4? Are they retarded?

    Just like shooters, PS4 is fucking atrocious for ARPGs. Like your trashier version of an already trash game (Diablo 3).

    Something is off with the difficulty curve in this game. I stroll through every level effortlessly killing waves of guys, then when I fight a big story boss it kills me in two hits. Then that doesn’t even matter because the game respawns you right outside the boss room with no penalties. So what is the point of any of it? It’s like they know their bosses are bullshit but they don’t think you’ll care because the game has no stakes.

    It would not sell well on PS4 as it is not a movie.
