Our Seven-Day War Gets a Feature Length Anime Movie

The Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou light novel by Osamu Soda, or at it’s known in English: Our Seven-Day War, is getting a feature length anime film.

The anime film is premiering sometime in December of this year, and the official website is up now. The light novel the film is based on has sold over 20 million copies since its debut back in 1985.

The story chronicles seven boys and girls rebelling against societal norms after one of the close friends is being forced to move to Tokyo due to their parents being on the city council.

Their rebellion starts a wave of resistance that is inspirational and wild to read from beginning to end. The movie looks like it’ll be a fun ride – we’ll do a proper review when it premieres later this year.
