• Nintendo Switch sells over 122.55 million units, tops PS4 lifetime sales

    Nintendo announced Nintendo Switch console sales have topped 122.55 million units, proving sales haven’t slowed down.

    The new sales milestone was reached in the financial period ending in December 2022. The last milestone for Switch sales was 114 million units – back in November of last year.


    The Switch is now the third-best selling console of all time, inching out the PlayStation 4 at 117 million. Only the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS stand ahead of it in sales, respectively.

    The Switch has been available worldwide since March 2017, and the newer OLED Nintendo Switch has been available since October 2021.
