Hopefully they’ll also tell smaller developers when they can get dev kits so they can start porting their projects over…

Let’s see if they’ll mess it up. They need to mention region locking and some quick overview of the account system.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but if it’s region locked my interest will drop significantly. But I also want to see how the Japanese support pans out (not including NoA localisations).

Hopefully this turns out better than the Wii U. They’ve already done a better job in the lead up to release at least. Also fix NoA.

The main thing to fix at NoA is to fire everyone at Nintendo Treehouse.

Once Nintendo, always Nintendo. I have no hope for them. I’m expecting ass hardware and region locking amongst other Nintendo gripes.

Wrong, you don’t just fight everyone at treehouse, you fired them out of a cannon into a giant wood chipper, so the people who replace them won’t make the same mistakes!

If this conference includes the public execution of the Treehouse employees I may actually buy an NS.

there are already indie devs announcing games. and is not the usual suspects (shin-en for example) so likely you can get dev kits already but under heave ass NDA

Maybe Nintendo could get them to commit seppuku on stage for how they have dishonored themselves, their families, and Nintendo?

alternatively, hire someone whose positions stand in direct opposite of all the current treehouse crowd

someone who could “balance” the team a little out so they won’t be so one sided towards the dumb things they make

some diversity of opinion there could do wonders, just someone to say “this is a bad idea” every once in a while

It’s going to be region locked so you’re forced to buy NoA’s bastardized versions, so why should anyone care?

This has been their M.O. since the DS. They’ve been at it for nearly 12 years.

Nintendo is a shit company that doesn’t love you back.

They won’t mention region locking. It’ll be up to developer leaks or launch reviews to bring that to light. It’s just not a system feature that Nintendo would market, regardless of whether it’s region free or locked.
