Mouthwashing tops 500K copies, reveals console ports

Mouthwashing

Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Wrong Organ have announced Mouthwashing has topped 500,000 copies, news confirmed with console ports for the horror game.

The first person horror game has topped half a million copies since its September 2024 release for Windows PC (via Steam). A console release is planned for Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PS5 sometime later in 2025.

A physical console release for the game is also planned by our friends at Fangamer on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a previous trailer:

Mouthwashing is a first-person horror game following the dying crew of a shipwrecked space freighter.

Who could have known what good ol’ Captain Curly was capable of? Guess he thought his crew dying alongside him was only right. But some men can’t even kill themselves properly. Maimed, limbless and unable to speak, but alive, Curly is now at the mercy of the crew he has doomed to a slow death.
