Mighty No. 9 is out today, however the game was delayed at the last minute across three planned development platforms.
From an update on the game’s Kickstarter blog, we’ve learned that the Xbox 360, Mac, and Linux games will not make today’s release.
While the Xbox 360 version has to go through certification again, it failed its original submission due to a noticeable bug. Xbox 360 backers will receive a Steam key now, while they’ll be able to get the Xbox 360 version later.
The Mac and Linux versions of the game are in final testing, with Comcept hopeful they’ll be ready in the coming days.
It’s worth mentioning that keys are reportedly being sent out to backers now, however, this process didn’t seem to begin until after the retail version of the game started being sent out. Our review for Mighty No. 9 is currently in progress – stay tuned!
