Listen to the English Voice Cast of Mighty No. 9

Comcept has revealed a new trailer for Mighty No. 9 that showcases the game’s English voice cast.

Featured above, you can view the first in a series of trailers to showcase the game’s voice talent. The first trailer has voices like Jan Johns (as Dynatron), Yuri Lowenthal (the voice of Beck), and more.

Development on Mighty No. 9 was reportedly “pretty much finished” back in January, although the last semblance of a release date was for some time later this month.

We’ll keep you guys posted.

I would’ve been excited for this, but I am still salty over the fact that they banned people from their kickstarter forums for having an opinion. Forums that the people paid money to get access to.

Yuri Lowenthal is one of my favorite voice actors. He is the Prince of Persia and can make any story sound amazing.

As for the game – I’m not touching it. I’m a backer and I felt like I got swindled out of my money due to their idiotic personal politics. It was a learning experience for me with Kickstarter. There are far more deserving games that will get my time – Shovel Knight for example is leagues above this Megaman ghost.

Damn shame. this game could have been something big, but thanks to one incompetent person its destined to die

I wouldn’t blame just one person. If you are a manager you are responsible for your team and the integrity of your project. Comcept hired that idiot who eradicated half of the community that backed the game within 2 weeks after the Kickstarter completion and some more when she started her idiotic crusade against backers who support GamerGate.

and the fact no one has done anything about her is questionable. there is absolutely no possible way no one on the team has gotten wind of her bullshit

I actually forgot about this game. I thought it was never going to see the light of day would just keep adding stretch goals to get more money.

I think it was said best for me with the phrase “mighty no, nein.”

One week before Mighty No. Nein’s KS ended, I was contemplating jumping in with $20. I decided instead to buy some Taco Bell for me and some friends. I was on the toilet for the next two days in pain and that was still better money spent than backing this. Thank you for saving me, TBell.

Shovel Knight’s good, so is Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse. MN9 is not on my radar at all for many reasons, including that it just doesn’t look that good.

I was just reminded that this game is still in developement, and it seems like it also garnered really mixed reception as well. I suppose this was a during a phase when Capcom pulled the plug on Megaman and thought maybe Inafune would steal some of that thunder, Shovel Knight scratched that itch I’m sure for fans that were into Megaman. I haven’t played Shovel Knight yet but I’m very much looking forward to playing Shovel Knight than Mighty No. 9 for sure.

It sucks so hard that I can’t enjoy this game. I should be happy to hear this news.

Thanks Dina, for ruining this project for thousands of supporters like myself.
Thanks Inafune, for allowing Dina to drive your supporters away.
Thanks Capcom, for creating desperation for a Mega Man game.

How is Mighty No. 9 so many months late and we’ve only just now heard the English voices for the first time? I figured this information must have come out ages ago and I just wasn’t keeping up. I’m upset that the voices are so typical, but what can you do? Ice puns for the ice character. Long Z’s in place of S’s for electricity character. All high-pitched squeaky clean voices. Meh. Very talented people, poor direction and management. Hey, that sounds like Mighty Number 9 in general.

R.I.P. my enthusiasm and even my respect for Inafune and his future projects. Such high hopes crushed less than a month after the game was announced.

I must admit at first, with all the hate this game was getting I figured it was just pro-gamergaters just trumping it up because of Dina like Anita and being anti-gamergate. Then I started to look into what was going on and wow….what a fucking conceded; vindictive bitch Dina is.

The only damn reason she got the job first of all is because she’s banging someone on the development team and not because she had any real experience running a community, great idea Comcept!!

But to then go after backers that gave their hard earned money by calling them babies and even ban them from the forums EVEN THOUGH THEY PAID THE RIGHT TO ACCESS THEM!? Just because they supported Gamergate? No, that’s inexcusable

She can be pro or anti all she wants, that is her right but you don’t, under any circumstances, let your personal politics or agendas interfere with your professional job. You are paid to bring a community together NOT to break it in half. If you cannot do this, then you don’t take that kind of position, it is that simple.

Oh, and one more thing, Dina, your female drawing for Beck?

One of the ugliest drawings I have recently seen….

I think that it’s pretty funny that even in an article like this Dina is still somehow mentioned and talked about! Not saying that it shouldn’t happen, but it does drive home a point many of us were saying from day one: Community Managers DO matter. Look how much negativity she brings to your company and game, regardless how uninvolved or unrelated she is.

Also to clear the air, Dina was a terrible moderator of the forums far before the whole #GamerGate issue. I understand as moderator you will sometimes have to use your own personal judgments when looking after the forums but it was clear she was letting her personal opinions, politics and agendas dictate things.

But back on topic: not really liking the voice acting. I think the voices actually sound ok, but the delivery and script they had to read was pretty cringe worthy.

Oh, those fanboy tears are so delicious. This game turned out to be the roadkill disaster it was always meant to be. I hope this game fails and mighty number puke will die once and for all so we don’t have to hear anymore whining about megaman like Inafune was going to be the savior of that franchise. That idiot was the one who killed it in the first place. How many shitty megaman games kept getting released and somehow people want MORE of that shit!? This shitty game was never going to be good, and everything that has happened has just validated that fact. It looks like shit, it sounds like shit, and it plays like shit. Megman fanturds, you got the game you deserved.
