Leisure Suit Larry Creator Departs Amidst Scandal

In an eerie case of life imitating art, Al Lowe, creator of the (in)famous Leisure Suit Larry games, has resigned from his position at publisher Replay Games.

Though details are scarce and perhaps a bit more than we really need to know, his departure is related to a a case against Replay president Paul Trowe and his having shown an adult video to a minor.

This is especially ironic considering that the titular character in the Leisure Suit Larry games is known for his depravity and sexual immaturity.

Lowe made a comment in an interview following this revelation that Replay still owned the rights to the series and may do sequel(s) in the future, though they would, quote, “Have to do them without me”.
