Korg has put out a few digital synthesizers for various Nintendo hardware, starting with the Korg DS-10 on the Nintendo DS back in 2008.

The newly announced Korg DSN-12, featured above is coming to the Nintendo 3DS sometime this September. It’s not technically a game, but more of a literal digital synthesizer that will let you craft your own techno, synth-y music on the 3DS hardware. It even comes with a full oscilloscope, which Korg is promising to be “the world’s first 3D display oscilloscope screen,” a nice little tagline for the game at that.

A price or solid release date were not confirmed, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
