Final Fantasy Legends’ New Trailer Shows Off Characters, Monsters, Summonses

The new trailer for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Legends: The Space-Time Crystal is out. It features the game’s theme song, “Timeless Tomorrow” by Lia.

The video introduces us to all of the main characters, summonses, more monsters (Bahamut!), and more battle mechanics.

Characters

In order, the characters below are the two protagonists, Tumoro, an adventure-seeker, and Emo, a girl from the future with amnesia; Riigu, a world-weary and dependable traveler; Jornee, an elven princess brimming with curiosity; Parai, a lone wolf; Maina, a shadowy ninja; and Mootie, a baby mythical beast deity.

Summonses

Shiva, Ifrit, and what’s probably Ramuh (featured below, in that order) make special in-game appearances, as we get to see them unleashing their attacks after being summoned. Diablo’s confirmed, and a few other summons will also be available; place your guesses as to who the remainder shown in the video are in the comments.

Those who pre-register for the game will receive a download code for a white chocobo.

Final Fantasy Legends: The Space-Time Crystal is a free mobile game that should launch any day now.

I fume when quality art assets are used for mobile crap. The gameplay visuals themselves look Gaia Online tier, yet I remain annoyed.

I briefly wondered if this was perhaps a remake of the Game Boy game, or a new attempt to bring the SaGa franchise to the West, and instead, but no, it’s just another mobile game from Square Enix that will undoubtedly be filled with microtransactions.

The art look really, really decent. What a shame.
