3D Ecco the Dolphin and 3D Galaxy Force II are the latest of SEGA’s re-releases in 3D on the Nintendo 3DS to hit Western audiences.

3D Ecco the Dolphin is a remastered version of the 1993 classic featuring a dolphin named Ecco who embarks on an underwater adventure, possibly to save the Earth. The game remains one of my all time favorite games from the Sega Genesis, and comes highly recommended.

Galaxy Force II is a third person shooter, where you control a space craft and avoid obstacles and destroy your enemies. The game originated in Japanese arcades way back in 1988. Like most older Sega games, it was ported to their home consoles and gave quite a challenge for fans used to Space Harrier.

Both games cost $5.99 on the eShop, and are definitely worth checking out.
