Doom Eternal Personalize Your Doom Slayer Trailer, Collector’s Edition Physical Soundtrack Unavailable at Launch

Doom Eternal

Bethesda Softworks have released a new trailer, detailing how personalization will work in Doom Eternal. In addition, they have announced the game’s physical soundtrack will not be in the Collector’s Edition at launch.

The video description of the new trailer details how players unlock various skins, animations, and podiums in the game. This can also be used for photomode, the single-player campaign, and Battlemode (which opens customization options for playable demons).

For a limited time, players who link their Twitch Prime account to their Bethesda.net account will get the “DOOMicorn Slayer Master Collection.”

You can find the customization trailer below.

In addition, Bethesda announced that the game’s soundtrack CD will not be available in the Collector’s Edition when the game launches. While they are working to produce the CD, those who purchased the Collector’s Edition will be able to download a digital “ultra-high quality, lossless version of the new standalone soundtrack.”

You can read the full statement below:

“The standalone DOOM Eternal Official Game Soundtrack, which forms part of the DOOM Eternal Collector’s Edition, will not be available on March 20, 2020 as originally intended.

Collector’s Edition owners will receive all other items in the edition, including the ultra-high quality, lossless, digital version of the DOOM (2016) Official Game Soundtrack, on March 20, 2020.

We will provide a digital ultra-high quality, lossless version of the new standalone soundtrack to all fans who purchase the Collector’s Edition, and we are working on plans to deliver the soundtrack as soon as possible after the release date. We will notify all Collector’s Edition owners who redeem their soundtrack code and we will update our official channels as soon as the DOOM Eternal Soundtrack is available.

If you wish to cancel your DOOM Eternal Collector’s Edition pre-order because of the delay, please promptly contact your retailer or point of purchase. If you are unable to contact your retailer, you may reach Bethesda customer support at help.bethesda.net.”
