From the award-winning developers at Arkane Studios comes Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, the next standalone adventure in the critically-acclaimed Dishonored series. Be a badass supernatural assassin and take on the role of notorious Billie Lurk as she reunites with her mentor Daud in order to pull off the greatest assassination ever conceived. Reunited with your old mentor, the legendary assassin Daud, you undertake the greatest assassination ever conceived: killing the Outsider, a god-like figure whom Billie and Daud see as instrumental to some of the Empire’s most dishonorable moments. As you venture deep into the grimiest corners of Karnaca to uncover the mystery of the Outsider and his origins, you will face deadly opposition, ancient powers, and difficult decisions that will forever change the world around you.

Killing The Outsider? How? Why? Why would you bother killing a chaotic neutral divine being?

    I’m confused.
Why would we possibly want to kill the most interesting character in the series? This is Prototype 2 all over again.

And why Billie Lurk of all people? Didn’t Daud either kill or exile her? Now THIS is Delilah all over again. Just throw the Daud dlc’s out of the window because they don’t matter at all.

He’s only interesting because he’s mysterious. Corvo is still above him for me but you have a point with the retcon going on. They’re probably gonna give Outsider all this backstory in this standalone, continuing from Dishonored 2, and make him a killable Insider.

Definitely prefer these standalone expansions we’ve been getting lately over traditional DLC, especially for a game like this.

Eh, we’re playing as a character who could’ve been killed twice already (DH1 dlc, DH2), and also had an additional choice in DH2 where you could restore her arm and eye through altering the past.

The actual here is that this series has zero fucking respect for the choices it offers players, worse than Bioware even. Meanwhile Starbreeze/Machine Games actually seems to be carrying the big choice from Wolfenstein: TNO over to the sequel.
