Tokyo Ghoul got its start in Weekly Young Jump, a seinen manga publication, in 2011, which currently has a sequel serial, Tokyo Ghoul:re; and made its way to TV in 2014 as an anime, the sequel to which, Tokyo Ghoul √A, will premiere on January 8th in Japan.

Now it’s getting a free-to-play mobile game in 2015 through Bandai Namco. The above trailer was released with the announcement, and is narrated by Natsuki Hanae, who voices Ken Kaneki in the anime.

It appears the game is going to be a grid-based, turn-based JRPG. Players will be able to play as either investigators or ghouls, each choice having its own play style, and will be able to recruit a group of three other characters to help them in their battles.

No other details have been confirmed for the game yet, other than that it will have in-app purchases available. The official website is open for pre-registration, and those who do pre-register will get a rare Kaneki card when Tokyo Ghoul carnaval becomes available on mobile devices.
