Chucklefish’s Other New Game is Like Stardew Valley Meets Harry Potter

While we know Chucklefish is working on a new game they’re likening to Advance Wars mashed up with Fire Emblem (which can sound redundant to some), they also have another game in development up their sleeves.

The second game, shown above, is what they’re positioning as something like “an RPG/Sim set in a magic school, something like Stardew Valley meets Harry Potter,” news confirmed by Chucklefish Games CEO Finn “Tiyuri” Brice to PCGamer. Brice posted the above video with the message “Personally, I’m spellbound.”

Brice also said the game has a day and night cycle, classes to attend to (as you’ll no doubt be a student), dating mechanics, and “some interesting gameplay twists.” There was another art test for the game, seen below:

The above GIF, called “Spellbound library,” was posted with the message “this mockup has me even more Spellbound.” The name “Spellbound” (as corny as it is, the puns will flow) has been circled around for the game apparently, however it’s not official just yet.

We’ll keep you guys posted.
