Blizzard Entertainment has announced BlizzCon is finally returning, though fans will still have to wait awhile for their next expo.

BlizzCon is set to return but not this year sadly, the fan-focused expo won’t return until next year – from September 12th through the 13th in 2026 once again in the Anaheim Convention Center.

“We are building this event just like we build our games: with a deep commitment to our players, with respect for your connections to our universes, and as a celebration of the strength of the bonds formed through shared adventure.”

A few years after COVID-19 restrictions had mostly been lifted and public events became common again, Blizzard confusingly canceled BlizzCon 2024, though a proper reason wasn’t given.

Several months before the 2024 edition of BlizzCon was shot down without a real excuse, the long-running E3 convention was shut down forever – leading fans to worry BlizzCon was the next big expo to be shut down for good.
