The latest Famitsu has shown off a new preview featuring Berserk and the Band of the Hawk.
The new preview shows Griffith’s Femto transformation. In addition, while there’s only a few sparse details, a new gameplay mode called “Infinity Eclipse” was added which should extend the game’s playability.
They’ve also said that the game will feature character growth and enhancing as you play as well. Unfortunately, the scan isn’t of the best quality, but you can still see it below.
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is set to release in North America on February 21st, and three days later on the 24th in Europe, on PS4, PS Vita, and PC. Japan gets the game first though on October 27th on PS4, PS3, Vita.

September 21, 2016 at 10:22 amI’d probably just have gone with something like “Berserk: Band of the Hawk” if I were really urged to shorten it but otherwise I’d disagree with ya; seems fine to me.

September 21, 2016 at 12:22 pmMy problem, mainly, is the title implies Berserk is a person, grammatically speaking. It just doesn’t make sense. Plus, most of us know what Berserk is already, so everyone is just going to say “the Berserk game” or “Berserk Musou”. If it was called Berserk Warriors, then at least it’d be a good title anyone would say in a conversation. Just imagine the difficulty recommending the game to an outsider – most people aren’t going to remember a long, stupid title, which would defeat the purpose of recommending it.

No, but in all seriousness, there’s something to be said about the hype of a game to a point where NeoCUCKS got triggered over just a teaser alone. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/fde595ce831cedea01e740060ba40519a6885a3f38e118cf365f2a377e3a44a8.png

September 21, 2016 at 6:46 pmFucking seriously. I would’ve gone with something like “Battle of the Berserk” or something like that. Close enough to Berserk Musou and reminiscent of Sword of the Berserk for people who played it.

September 22, 2016 at 6:00 amFunny how they don’t talk about how Guts was abused as a child as well, but as long as it’s not a female it’s not worth bitching about by SJW retards.

September 22, 2016 at 6:13 amBerserk is referencing just one character, and it’s Guts. Anyone who pays real attention to the manga and tv series can tell that clearly when Guts gets serious he goes berserk, his latest black armor is literally called Berserk Armor due to it making anyone who wear it go berserk, and Guts’s mental break caused him to manifest a monstrous alter ego in the form of a black hound which drove him to go on a killing spree from time to time after he was branded. So yeah the title “Berserk” is really just an alias for Guts and his personality. I would say yeah, the title Berserk is correct to assume Berserk is a person, when you say Berserk the first person you think of is Guts.

September 22, 2016 at 6:18 amThey should have just left the title simply “Berserk” and called it a day, anyone and everyone would have figured it out and left it alone.

September 22, 2016 at 9:17 amI would still have to disagree. First off, thanks for spoiling part of the manga for me. And secondly, it still doesn’t add up, because even though Guts goes berserk in the story, I have seen not one character refer to him as Berserk; everyone either calls him Guts or The Black Swordsman. So if you have any evidence of someone namedropping in the manga as a way to address Guts himself, feel free to show me, because I’m otherwise unconvinced. The title itself can definitely apply to Guts’ slow descent into madness, but for a story that’s older than I am, I’m pretty sure the title has a few more universal uses within the Berserk universe, thematically speaking. The Berserker Armour doesn’t come in until way later.
In any case, I highly doubt anyone would’ve thought to conclude Guts is also called Berserk, unless they’re extremely ignorant of what Berserk is.

September 23, 2016 at 7:10 amI was referring to readers calling him Berserk because he is supposed to be a berseker knight, similar to the countless other unstoppable fighters that plague every fantasy story with knights, read Forgotten Realms. I haven’t revealed anything that wasn’t already shown in the game trailers already, and besides everything I described is over ten years old now so if you haven’t caught up by now then clearly you weren’t that much into the story. The only thing I might have said that most don’t know about is Guts being abused by Gambino’s associate as a child after being sold, because that wasn’t in the old anime series.

September 23, 2016 at 8:32 pmNo surprise they marketed it that way. Japan’s got issues with Sex, never mind how many fetishes they’ve bred over there.
