Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker has a few short videos out that show off two characters and three gameplay systems. The game is dated for January 29 in Japan and some time in early 2015 for North America. If you haven’t seen the box art or pre-order bonuses, you can do so here.

Characters

The Anguished One, above, is a recurring character who appears to the protagonist in Devil Survivor 2, whom he refers to as the “Shining One.” Whether the Anguished One is a friend or foe to the player will depend on the choices they make during the story.

Tycho, above, is the players’ Nicaea contact, an artificial intelligence built into the game’s devil summoning application, that will support the player. They can be selected as either male or female, and will be slightly different depending on the gender selected.

Gameplay systems

The following three video show of some of the gameplay systems in Devil Survivor 2. The first gives us a look at demon gathering via auctions, the second shows off how those demons level up during demon battles, and the last covers demon fusion, which creates new and improved demons.
