Arcade Archives re-releases Bubble Bobble for Nintendo Switch

Arcade Archives

Hamster Corporation’s ongoing Arcade Archives series confirmed its next re-release: the classic Taito puzzler Bubble Bobble.

Originally released way back in 1986, the cute puzzle game is now available for Nintendo Switch (via the eShop). The puzzle game was previously re-released for PS4 back in 2016.

Here’s a brief blurb on the game:

‘BUBBLE BOBBLE’ is an action game that was released from TAITO in 1986.

Players control the twin Bubble Dragons that are called ‘Bubblun’ and ‘Bobblun’, and travel through one hundred different stages.

The game became popular and led to a long series of sequels and spin-offs. The main goal of the game is to rescue their girlfriends from the Cave of Monsters.

The previous release in their Arcade Archives re-releases was Itazura Tenshi / Mischievous Angel – read more about that here in our previous report.
