3D Animated Film Lupin III: The First Coming to DVD and Blu-ray January 12 Available for Preorder

The new 3D animated film Lupin III: The First will be releasing on DVD, Blu-ray, and in a limited edition Steelbook version from publisher  on January 12th of next year and are now available for preorder.

GKIDS announced the upcoming release on their official Twitter page. The DVD and Blu-ray release will come in a normal and limited edition Steelbook version. According to the GKIDS online store there’s no difference in content, however the Steelbook is offered as a collector’s item and fits in with the rest of the GKIDS Steelbook media products.


The same announcement also confirmed the date the movie will become available for digital download. Viewers will be able to download-to-own Lupin III: The First on December 15th.

Lupin III: The First will be available for download-to-own on December 15th DVD and Blu-ray January 12th; and as we reported previously, the film will premiere in western theaters on October 18th.
