Japanese developer Onion Games has announced Black Bird is coming to PS4 and PS5, via a newly published PlayStation Store listing for the game.

While Black Bird is coming to PS4 and PS5, a release date wasn’t confirmed.


Black Bird was originally released for Switch (via the eShop) and later on PC (Steam). In case you missed it, you can find my thorough review for the game here (I highly recommend it!).

Here’s a rundown on the game:

This is the tale of a young girl who dies one day on a street corner and is reborn as the ominous Black Bird. The bird is one of the great calamities, spoken of in the kingdom since ancient times.
