Disciples: Liberation Gameplay Reveal

Disciples: Liberation

Kalypso Media and developer Frima Studio have released the first gameplay trailer for dark fantasy strategy RPG Disciples: Liberation.

As previously reported, the game is a reboot and reimagining of the Disciples series from the early 2000s, which hasn’t seen a new game since 2012’s Disciples III: Reincarnation. Players will become a hero liberating the land of Nevendaar from dark forces.

Choose from one of four classes, and recruit over 50 types of units as you build your army, expand your home base, complete quests, and make difficult decisions that can lead to one of five endings.

The new trailers promise over 80 hours of gameplay and over 270 missions, 50 units, 81 spells, and 100 skills. While monsters in past games could be given items to use in battle and possessed passive abilities, it seems each monster will have its own abilities to use in battle; and stats further tweaked by Emotion Shards.

You can find the A New Dawn and developer-narrated gameplay reveal trailers below.

Finally, you can sign up to the closed beta here. The beta will start 17th of June, and will be limited to 1,000 PC players.

You can find the full rundown (via Steam) below.
