Binary Haze Interactive have announced the release date for Early Access dark fantasy Metroidvania Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights.

As previously reported, the game is a 2D action-platformer with RPG elements set in the dark Kingdom of End, following its fall to malignant powers. The pure maiden Lilly is trapped in this hopeless world of corruption, and must find a way out.


Teaming up with fallen allies, amass an arsenal of mystical skills and artifacts, and banish the foul creatures that now rule this once-majestic kingdom. The game also feature music by Mili (Ghost in the Shell, Goblin Slayer, Cytus, Deemo), and sound effects by former Sega producer Keiichi Sugiyama (Rez, Skies of Arcadia).

As stated in the press release (via email), the console launch will include the five new areas that will soon becoming to the 1.0 update for the Early Access game; for a total of eight areas, and the conclusion to the story. The game’s soundtrack will also be coming to Apple Music and Spotify, along with Amazon Music, iTunes, and to Steam as DLC in 2021.

“Early Access users are in love with the soundtrack and have clamored to see the ending of ENDER LILIES,” said Binary Haze Interactive CEO Hiroyuki Kobayashi, “We hope they will enjoy the rest of Lily’s journey. Between feedback from players, our action-packed gameplay, and the beautiful atmosphere created by Mili’s music and our artists, ENDER LILIES will satisfy existing metroidvania fans while bringing new ones into the fold.”

The game is available now in Steam Early Access for $19.99 USD (19,99€ EUR, £15.49 GBP), and will rise to $24.99 (24,99€ EUR / £21.99 GBP) once the game fully launches.
