GOG Hosting Giveaway of Original XIII for 48 Hours

XIII GOG Giveaway

GOG have announced they are having a giveaway of the original XIII, the graphic novel-inspired first person shooter, for 48 hours.

The recent remake launched November 10th, 2020, but was panned by players and critics alike [1, 2, 3]. The issues came from unnecessary changes to art style and gameplay, and numerous bugs. In fact, the remake’s launch caused more people to buy the 2003 original in the UK.

Now, GOG have announced they are giving away the original XIII for 48 hours, until April 1st. The giveaway is part of their ongoing Spring Sale; boasting sales on over 3000 titles.
