Destroy All Humans! 50% Off on Steam; Destroy All Humans! 2 Remake Teased

Destroy All Humans! 2

THQ Nordic have announced a midweek madness deal on Destroy All Humans! (2020); along with teasing a possible remake of Destroy All Humans! 2.

While the trailer discusses a midweek madness sale of 50% off on Steam, the very end of the trailer has a surprise (1:15). The Furon race is entirely made of clones, and the character speaking to Crypto-137 is Crypto-138; the protagonist of Destroy All Humans! 2.

Combined with what 137 says, it is more that likely a hint that Destroy All Humans! 2 will be getting a remake, much like the 2005 original did in 2020. The sequel features Crypto’s clone following in his footsteps, posing as the President of the United States.

As he is made from more pure Furon DNA however, Crypto-138 is the first Furon to have genitalia. After the KGB learns of this, they see the Furon race as a threat, and destroy their mothership.  Crypto-138 ventures out once again for revenge using his psychic powers, and alien technology.

On the other hand, Crypto-137 stating “I’m only getting started!” may imply additional content for Destroy All Humans! (2020), or even a new game set between the original and the sequel. This would mean playing as Crypto-137 during the 10 year period he acted as President of the United States (and perhaps explaining why he still served what appears to be a period of over two consecutive terms).

It is far more likely that it implies Crypto-137 is going to cause more chaos thanks to the midweek sale; with more people playing the game in preparation for the sequel.

Destroy All Humans! (2020) had also utilized several weapons and powers found in the sequel, not to mention creating a 3D render of Crypto-138 for the trailer.
