Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment have announced the release date for the Switch port of Apex Legends.

The free-to-play battle royale shooter is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 9th. Panic Button was in charge of the Switch port, and the port includes the latest seasonal content, cross-platform play, and the same featureset as the other versions of the game.

As the Switch port is launching a couple weeks after the game’s eight season kicked off, Switch players will get 30 free levels for their Season 8 Battle Pass, as well as two weeks of double XP.

Apex Legends has been available for Windows PC (via Origin, Steam), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
