Valve have announced the release date of the next Steam Game Festival event, the February 2021 Edition.
The event will include over 500 limited-time playable demos of upcoming games, as well as live-streams by the developers. Some of the games include Hazel Sky (Coffee Addict Studio), Fling to the Finish (Splitside Games), Black Book (Morteshka), Almighty: Kill Your Gods (Runwild Entertainment), Shady Knight (Alexey ‘Cptnsigh’), and Genesis Noir (Feral Cat Den).
There is also The Riftbreaker (Exor Studios), Bloodroots (Paper Cult), Aerial: Knight’s Never Yield (Aerial_Knight), Siege Survival: Gloria Victis (Fishtankstudio), Blunt Force (Monad Rock), Children of Silentown (Elf Games and Luna2 Studio), and Narita Boy (Studo Koba).
The Steam Game Festival: February 2021 Edition launches February 3rd at 10:00 a.m. PST, and ends February 9th 10:00 a.m. PST.
The prior Steam Game Festivals had sprung up as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic lockdown orders, and subsequent cancellations of many conventions and trade shows. As many developers had lost the opportunities for people to play their games, Steam and others stepped up to allow these demos (and likely more) to be played.
