Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio producer Teruyuki Toriyama has announced he’s leaving the company.

Toriyama confirmed he’ll depart Sony proper at the end of this month. Toriyama was producer on several of Sony Japan Studio’s games, including the Demon’s Souls Remake, Bloodborne, Soul Sacrifice, and more.

“I will be leaving Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio at the end of December. To all the users who have supported Japan Studio so far, thank you so much! I will continue to take on the challenge of creating new game IPs in my new company, and I ask for your continued support.”

It remains unclear where Toriyama will end up next, but his departure is hot on the heels of fellow Sony veteran Keiichiro Toyama, Sato Kazunobu and Junya Okura, all of whom also left to join a new company – Bokeh Game Studio. You can read more about that here in our previous report.
