Grounded The Koi Pond Update Now Live

Grounded Koi Pond Update

Developer Obsidian Entertainment have released the Koi Pond 0.4 update for survival game Grounded.

Grounded is in Early Access for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

As previously reported, players take on the role of children trapped in a “Honey I Shrunk The Kids” scenario. Stuck in a backyard and surrounded by hostile insects and critters, players will need to forage for food, build a shelter, and defend themselves against bugs lest they become food.

The new update introduces the new biome of the Koi Pond, giving players a large underwater area to explore- with plenty of threats. New creatures include a one-eyed koi fish, diving bell spiders, tadpoles, and water boatmen. Players can also gain Koi Armor, a Bubble Helmet, Flip Flops and plenty of new tools.

The update also introduces Landmarks and secrets to discover, along with quality of life improvements based on feedback.
