Final Fantasy IX Physical Switch Version Reportedly Launches November 27 in Asia

Final Fantasy IX

Square Enix have reportedly announced the release date for the physical Nintendo Switch version of Final Fantasy IX in Asia.

We previously reported how the game was reportedly releasing in Asia in Winter 2020. Now, fresh information via the combined efforts of Silicon Era and Nintendo Soup has revealed a new release date.

Reportedly, Square Enix Asia posted a Facebook post only visible to those in Singapore, listing the game’s release date as November 27th. Nintendo Soup took a screenshot of the post, while Silicon Era confirmed the posts’ validity through a VPN.

As the game supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish; a western release would seem likely. You can find the screenshot of the Facebook post below (via Nintendo Soup).
