2K Games have announced Borderlands 3 will be heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on their respective launches.
The game is available on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store, and Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Now, the game is heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when they launch.
As a reminder; the PlayStation 5 will launch November 12th in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. For the rest of the world, it will launch November 19th. The PlayStation 5 will cost $499.99 USD, while the Digital Edition will cost $399.99 USD. The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launches on November 10th, for $499 USD and $299 USD respectively.
The next-gen version of the game boasts 60fps, 4K resolution, and three to four player splitscreen for local multiplayer. Two player splitscreen will be available as well, and will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as a free update.
Those playing the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to freely upgrade to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions respectively. Finally, The Borderlands Show will have more news, premiering October 29th at 9:0 a.m. PT via Twitch.
