Prices include one console, two controllers, and one 3D pulse headset. The console is presented in a luxury wooden display box. For those concerned about the price, Truly Exquisite offer free worldwide shipping and insurance. Preorders begin September 10th.

In earlier news, Bloomberg reported that Sony were allegedly taking a “wait-and-see“ approach to the PlayStation 5’s pricing, according to their sources. This was seemingly motivated by struggling to find parts and a limited production.

These was seemingly alleviated, with Bloomberg later reporting that PlayStation 5 production had reportedly doubled to 10 million. The alleged reason for this was due to the increased demand for gaming due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While the pricing of the PlayStation 5 is being debated and discussed, this special edition offers little in ways of working out what the price of a “normal” PlayStation 5 would be.

Aside from working out the value of the gold, rose gold, and platinum (ignoring the unknown factor of how much of each metal has been used in the finish), the quality of the service and branding as a luxury service is sure to increase the price.

The PlayStation 5 launches Holiday 2020.
