Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues Announced, Launches October 27 for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues

GameMill Entertainment have announced side-scrolling beat ’em up Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues.

Based on The Karate Kid film and the recent Cobra Kai series, players fight across the saga. IGN reports the game is a two-player side-scrolling beat ’em up; akin to Double Dragon.

The game has two campaigns for both Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do Karate, with Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso. Both are voiced by their original actors, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.

The game has 28 story missions, with each fighter having their own combos, upgrades, and skill trees to unlock. Completing both campaigns will unlock the game’s “ultimate” ending. The game supports local two-player co-op, swapping between the game’s eight characters.

You can find the reveal trailer below.

“Choose a side, master your moves, and embrace your destiny in an epic beat ’em up adventure inspired by the hit show. Take control of 8 playable characters with co-op multiplayer, deep move sets, combos, progression, real-time character swaps, ultimate attacks, and much more! 34 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the rivalry of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence continues.”

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues launches October 27th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
