Warner Bros. Games and developer Rocksteady Studios have fully announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League during the DC FanDome.
Set in the Batman: Arkham universe; an invasion by Braniac has reduced Metropolis to ruins, and Superman appears to be under his control. Now, Task Force X (a.k.a. the titular Suicide Squad) are tasked with stopping him.
This is group is made of criminals Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. All of them have been forced to save the day, in exchange for a reduced sentence and the bombs planted in their bodies not exploding.
The action-adventure shooter will combine with Arkham elements, and what each character can do. This will include navigation skills such as Deadshot’s jetpack or Captain Boomerang high-speed backpack technology, and each character’s weapons.
The game supports one to four player co-op. Players are free to switch between the characters, and can play any part of the story in single player or co-op (with friends jumping in and out when they wish).
