Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced the Season 4 update for Tekken 7 during the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable, and teased a new character.
The update will bring new moves for all characters, and improvements to online play. It was explained during the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable (1:49:15) these online features include letting players see if their opponent is using wi-fi, and rollback net-code improvements.
The rankings are going to be “reset to a certain degree,” as they are updated, and will use the new Tekken Prowess points system. A new character was also teased, as seen above. The Season 4 Update will come Fall 2020.
