Neko Ghost, Jump!

Burgos Games have announced that their platformer, Neko Ghost, Jump! is fully funded on Kickstarter, with new stretch goals.

Asking for $15,000 USD, the campaign has now reached that amount with 50 hours to go as of this time of writing. The first stretch goals is at $18,000 USD, adding a limited lives mode (with only 9 lives). Future stretch goals have not been revealed at this time.

As stated in our prior coverage, Neko Ghost, Jump! is a platformer where the main gimmick is freely swapping between 2D and 3D perspectives to get past obstacles.

You can also swap between a physical and ghost form to solve more puzzles. Players must rescue Nekoman’s friends and his fiancée from Space Dog Pirates. A free prologue for the game also recently released on Steam.

STORY
Nekoworld is a peaceful, fun-loving world inhabited by the Neko people. One day, on Nekoman’s wedding day, Space Dog Pirates invade and abduct all of Nekoman’s friends and family. It’s up to you to help him rescue not only his bride-to-be but everyone else as well.

GAMEPLAY
Neko Ghost, Jump! is a 2D/3D Puzzle-Platformer where you switch between 2D & 3D camera perspectives and between your physical form & ghost form to solve puzzles, collect coins, combat enemies and clear levels faster.

  • Competitive? There are leaderboards in every level so you can compete against others.
  • Want to take your sweet time? Don’t worry about the clock. Explore, solve puzzles, find secrets all the while collecting as many coins as possible and unlocking new customization options!
  • Action junky? Defeat enemies for extra loot.

Neko Ghost, Jump! is coming soon to Windows PC, and Linux (both via Steam); with Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions all being a possibility.
