Today’s Spotlight is Alwa’s Legacy, a 2D Metroidvania by Elden Pixels.

Alwa’s Legacy is the sequel to Alwa’s Awakening from 2017, and features upgraded visuals inspired by 16-bit classics. Players will once again get to explore the magical lands of Alwa as the young sorceress Zoe. Use Zoe’s magical abilities to solve puzzles, fight enemies, find secret areas, and traverse dangerous dungeons.

Alwa’s Legacy is available on Windows PC, Linux, and Mac (all via GOG, and Steam) for $17.99, and Summer 2020 on Nintendo Switch. If you buy the game on GOG, you get a free copy of Alwa’s Awakening.
