Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2 Physical Editions Available May 29, Heads to PS4 June 29

Blaster Master Zero 2 Physical

Limited Run Games have announced physical editions of Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2, along with Inti Creates stating both games will be heading to PlayStation 4.

The games are a reboot of the NES Blaster Master, where players traverse the depths in their tank and on foot to rescue their frog. The announcement was teased by Limited Run Games earlier


Firstly, Limited Run Games announced physical editions of Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2. The classic edition for each version will cost $54.99 USD, “featuring a reversible poster, original game soundtrack, and a retro cartridge-sleeve to fit your game case.”

The collector’s edition for $129.99 features both games, a certificate of authenticity, metal models of SOPHIA III and Gaia-SOPHIA, two reversible posters, Commemorative (non-functioning) NES cartridges, retro NES-style case sleeves for each game, an art print, each game’s soundtrack, and a commemorative box.

The physical editions will be available for pre-order May 29th at 10 a.m. ET for four weeks.

Limited Run Games also announced they will be producing soundtracks of the games on vinyl. Alongside the double LP for $37.99 USD (also including a download code), a Limited Edition quad LP for $99.99 USD also comes with a poster signed by Ippo Yamada (the games’ composer), and booklets with notes from him.

The vinyl soundtracks will be available for pre-order May 29th at 10 a.m. ET for four weeks.

Finally, Inti Creates announced [1, 2] that Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2 would both be heading to PlayStation 4 on June 29th. The physical editions for both games seem to also be available for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
