Kingdom Hearts III ReMind DLC Launches January 23 for PS4, February 25 for Xbox One

The teased Kingdom Hearts III ReMind DLC trailer due in December seems to have leaked early. Some sources claim the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube account posted it early before swiftly deleting it.

While other information was due out in December, it has not yet been official released. However we can piece together that we may be getting new bosses, and being able to play as other characters against these bosses.

Certain bosses you also originally fought along side other bosses and characters appear to also have battles against them one-on-one. In addition, classic Final Fantasy characters previously absent from the game will be returning- including Squall (called “Leon” in the Kingdom Hearts series), Yuffie, and Aerith.

The way certain scenes play out above may also indicate that content is not just “additional”, but that it instead re-writes how certain scenes play out.

Most interestingly of all, the narration and dialogue at 1:45 and text seen in the original Kingdom Hearts beta trailer (2:26), both discuss Sora’s existence being at risk. A reference, or proof that series creator Tetsuya Nomura had everything planned out from the very start? Sound off in the comments below!

The ReMind DLC is launching January 23rd, 2020 for PlayStation 4, and February 25th for Xbox One. You can read more on the DLC here in our previous report.
