• Nintendo Switch Sales Top 10 Million in Japan

    Nintendo have announced the combined sales of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite have reached 10 million units in Japan (as of November 3rd).

    While the sales for each console were not given separately, the Nintendo Switch launched March 3rd 2017, while the Nintendo Switch Lite launched September 20th, 2019.


    The announcement also states Nintendo’s belief that Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will “further expand the gaming experience” for the consoles.

    Other sale milestones for the Nintendo Switch include outselling the PlayStation 4 in Japan in May 2019, reaching 15 million sales in North America in October, as well as 41.67 million sales worldwide at the end of the same month.
